He wanted to have this book even long before he got sick. He would talk about it but he ran out of time before he could even start work on it. He wanted to write about what he had been through as a journalist/publisher/restaurateur/businessman/food lover, and share his experiences and learnings with the younger generation.

For me, co-publishing this book about my father is a precious opportunity to travel back to our life together a journey consisting of moments that were happy and sad, serious and hilarious, but all of them interesting. Those moments helped shape my life.
